Step 1 | Infuse


Steep 10g of white tea in 1.5L of room-temperature filtered water for 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Step 2 | Color


Pour the tea over ice in a 1.9L serving carafe. Dissolve 1½ tsp of butterfly pea extract into the full batch of tea, then pour it in and stir until fully dissolved, creating a deep blue hue.

Step 3 | Transform


Add 3 dried lemon slices and wait two minutes. The blue turns violet.

What is the express and stronger preparation method?

Steep 10 g of white tea in 1L of hot water for 3-4 minutes, gently crushing the leaves for more flavor. Strain, then add 500ml of cold water and ice. Dissolve about 3g of butterfly pea extract in a small amount of liquid before combining. Finish with three dried lemon slices.

Infuse 2g of white tea (1 tsp) in 400ml of filtered water at room temperature. Let steep in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Fill a glass with ice, pour the chilled tea, then dissolve a pinch of butterfly pea extract ( 0.5g) in a small amount of liquid before adding. Finish with one dried lemon slice and wait a few moments.

Use filtered or neutral water for the best color results, as alkaline water can alter the natural blue and violet shades. Our high-quality white tea leaves can be re-steeped once more, hot or iced, depending on your preference. The butterfly pea flower extract is powerful and volatile, handle it with care and wait until it has fully dissolved before stirring. You can keep the dried lemon slices for decoration and switch to fresh lemon if you prefer a brighter flavor.
